The Jewellery Council of South Africa has launched another security initiative exclusively for its members. Regional WhatsApp groups are being set up in each province in order to share information related to crimes that affect the jewellery manufacturing and retail sector.
Security remains one of the greatest challenges to our industry and CPM is fully supportive of this latest endeavour. By connecting and staying informed we can help to prevent and mitigate criminal activity and protect our priceless co-workers as well as our precious stock from this on-going threat.
Currently, the below provinces are operational. To be added to your provincial group, JCSA members may email their name and mobile number to:
Western Cape: stefan@prinsandprins.com
KwaZulu-Natal: lornal@jewellery.org.za
Gauteng: pulengr@cgcsa.co.za
JCSA membership has a range of benefits including discounts and preferential rates for certain card transactions, participation in promotional and advertising campaigns and exposure on their website and at exhibitions like Jewellex Africa, mediation and arbitration services, information relating to industry opportunities, news, competitions and guidance on legislation, and so much more. Download your application form here.
