As a registered precious metal refinery, Cape Precious Metals specialises in the recovery and recycling of precious metals using modern refining processes designed to maximise recovery and deliver competitive returns.
We process a wide range of jewellers’ waste, including sweeps, filings, polishings, old jewellery, solids and sludge, recovering valuable precious metals that may otherwise be lost.
Beyond refining, our expertise extends across a comprehensive range of precious metal products and solutions for the jewellery and manufacturing industries, supported by decades of technical knowledge, reliable service and a commitment to quality.

We maintain strict standards around the metals we accept into our refinery and the suppliers we work with. This includes a commitment to respecting human rights and avoiding forced or child labour, human rights abuses, illegal or criminal practices, money laundering, fraudulent activity, bribery, corruption and material linked to conflict-affected sources.
