Three employees from our Gauteng branch and a CPM KZN team member were recently evaluated according to the Jewellery Council of South Africa’s Professional Technical Skills Test Guidelines. All four passed with flying colours, bringing our collective total company-wide to 43 Certificates!
In-house training and development has always been a top priority for us. Benchmarking our staff against these standards set by the JMASA and JCSA ensures consistent and high quality results for the benefit of the industry as a whole, and falls in line with our vision to provide world class products and exceptional service to our customers across Southern Africa. This could not be achieved without our experienced and well-trained team!
We commend the following dedicated in-house professionals for their efforts in helping us achieve this mission:
Tom Altavilla, Regional Sales Manager for Gauteng, congratulates from left to right: Jevis, Stefan and Walter
From our Germiston branch, Jevis Ndlovu is one of our drivers, and also very handy in the maintenance department. We are always looking for potential in our staff, and after setting him the task of diligently practising his skills in our Smelting Division, we are delighted to congratulate him on his recognition in the ASSAYING category.
Stefan Griessel, our refining supervisor, is a new edition to our Gauteng team and loving the challenge of this new and exciting industry. He is already the proud holder of three certifications for ASSAYING, SMELTING and SOLDERING. Well done on your hat-trick Stefan!
Walter Ngwenya is our Alloy Technician and a long-standing member of our Gauteng team, for over a decade now! He started out as a driver before moving into the Smelting Division where he’s been thriving. Walter has added the SOLDERING certification to his previous Assaying, Alloying & Smelting certificates.
Mike Bleeker, one of our Sales Executives and a former jeweller, has been with CPM KwaZulu-Natal for 8 years at the time of this latest certification, and looks after our clients in the Pietermaritzburg and Free State regions. He achieved recognition for ALLOYING to complement the certificates he already holds in Smelting and Assaying. Congratulations Mike!
We commend all four gents on their dedication to their careers and for up-levelling their skills. Keep up the stellar work! |
