It’s always good to start the year with fresh ideas and new energy! CPM has a number of changes to announce that will optimise all our operations.

Malcolm Jenner has been traveling between KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng for the past 5 years as our Regional Manager. We are delighted to announce that he’s now taken on the role of Company Administrator and will be handling all our marketing. Whilst continuing to manage his Durban team from KZN, he will also be spending time in Cape Town every month to ensure the company administration and marketing is managed effectively. Malcolm joined CPM straight from school. In those days the entire company consisted of only four staff members, all sharing a desk in a tiny office in Cape Town. Over the years he has worn many caps as the company grew, and completely understands the business. He has been in Finance, Internal Sales, Admin, and also served as Branch Manager before taking on the Regional Management position. Malcolm has studied many courses over the years including project management, marketing, and general management; always passing with flying colours. Malcolm, we look forward to seeing more of you in the Mother City!

To replace Malcolm in the Gauteng office we have Tom Altavilla (our Italian Stallion) who will be managing the sales team, and Shannon Mackay who will manage the Germiston branch. Shannon returned to CPM in July 2022 as our Sales Executive in the Pretoria and surrounding areas. She previously managed the JHB Branch and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the industry. Shannon’s fair yet firm nature is a wonderful compliment to her other leadership qualities. Combined with her sharp people skills and steady enthusiasm we have no doubt the branch will be well taken care of under her stewardship. Welcome back to the management team Shannon!

Shane van Biljon will take over from Shannon as Sales Executive in the Pretoria and the surrounding areas. Shane started with CPM Gauteng as a driver. He was later promoted into our sales office where he quickly acquainted himself with all our products, and took on the role of co-ordinating our casting division. When a position became available in KZN, Shane and his family relocated there and he did an exceptional job in both overseeing the Internal Sales Department as well as co-ordinating the casting division in Durban. His ambitious nature led him to pursue a Sales and Marketing Diploma after hours, which he completed with excellent marks. His determination has paid off over the years, and he created for himself the opportunity to return to Johannesburg with his family and follow his dream as a Sales Executive. Congratulations Shane, we are so proud of you.
