Hot on the heels of our Gauteng and Head Office branches, CPM staff in KwaZulu-Natal received their Professional Technical Skills Certificates at a presentation ceremony in early November 2018.
This initiative, which recognises the expertise acquired by employees in the workplace, was launched in April this year by the Jewellery Council of South Africa exclusively to its members and has been fully embraced by Cape Precious Metals. We are proud to have assisted with the Refining Technician certification and we are currently assessing our Port Elizabeth employees involved in refining-related processes at their smelting and alloying station.
In-house training and development has always been a top priority for CPM. Benchmarking our staff against these standards will ensure our customers receive consistent and high quality services and that we continue to grow as a company for the benefit of our staff and clients.
A round of applause and congratulations to the following dedicated professionals, all of whom received two or three certifications acknowledging their extensive knowledge and specialist skills (pictured above from left to right):
Wayne van Eeden, Mike Bleeker, Vusie Mntambo, Chrystal Gourel De St Pern and Philip Backer
Many thanks for the service you provide to CPM and the industry!
