Cape Precious Metals is proud to support the Jewellery Council of South Africa and we commend their continued efforts in navigating and addressing complex regulatory and compliance matters across the industry.
Under the guidance of the JCSA Executive Committee — including CEO Lorna Lloyd, Chairperson Johan Bezuidenhout, and Vice Chair Grant Shapiro — key relationships have been established with SARS, industry regulators, and compliance authorities to foster better collaboration and mutual understanding. This has resulted in valuable insights and updates being shared with members across the industry.
We are also proud to share that our Administration and Marketing Director, Malcolm Jenner, has been appointed Chairperson of Jewellex and continues to serve on the JMSA committee. I have had the privilege of serving on the JCSA Executive Committee as well.
Looking ahead, the Council, alongside its sponsors, will be hosting exclusive networking gatherings ahead of the upcoming Roadshows in Johannesburg, KwaZulu-Natal, and Cape Town. We believe that strong industry relationships begin with meaningful conversations, and we encourage everyone to attend and participate in these important events.
