About Us

Cape Precious Metals (CPM) is a registered Precious Metal Refinery, specializing in recycling of all precious metals, including Gold, Silver, Platinum and Palladium. Refining is sourced from Jeweller’s sweeps, filings, polishings, solutions, old jewellery solids and a wide variety of photographic material.

CPM was established in 1994 with small distribution offices in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Owner and Managing Director, Sharon Eades, has successfully grown the business to become a large player in the refining and distribution of precious metals market.  CPM proudly integrated with Perkins Metal Recoveries in January 2014.
